The elevator in FRC might be one of the most used designs ever in history. In terms of linear motion, the elevator is the most common and efficient design that you will see. It is typically used to lift game elements, and in some previous games it was used as a climber. Some significant years of the elevator were 2015, 2018, and 2019, as there was a high location to score the element. There is a lot of freedom with the design and it has insane customizability. This design is highly recommended for any vertical linear motion:
