📚Awards Overview & Resources

Overview

Steps to win awards

  1. Read over ALL award overviews before competitions - make sure students (especially those in the pit space) know what each award is for

  2. Decide which awards you want to go for - rank all, or choose the top 2-5 awards you want to go for (decide based on your teams strengths)

  3. Craft basic answers to questions based on above decisions, make sure all students (especially those in the pit space) know how to respond to questions

  4. Remember - most judges WONT KNOW FRC; explain everything at a basic level and go more into depth if they ask

  5. Remember pt 2 - judges are EVERYWHERE; make sure to practice Gracious Professionalism at all times during the event

  6. Practice and focus on telling your teams story in a passionate and memorable way
