๐ฅณHow to Win Awards
The most important thing to remember is that the judges are going off of what the award description says - which, when you consider that most judges have limited/no FRC experience, means that if you can tailor your content to awards, you're far more likley to win awards. Use the Awards Overview & Resources page to make sure you know the awards and what the criteria is.
Once you have looked over all the award's criteria and reviwed your own content, select 2-3 (or more if you're confident) awards you'd like to focus on. From here, make sure your pit crew, drive team, and any other students who will be in the pit routinely are brushed up on the awards and what your content is.
Bronc Botz does this through an awards outline that students have access to and review before each event.
Keep in mind - a team that does not display Gracious Professionalism and Cooperatition at events may not be considered for awards that they may have earned.
Make sure that ALL students, including those in the stands, are displaying Gracious Professionalism.
Bronc Botz has a Pit Judging/Tips document that is distributed to any students who are attending competitions.
Another one of the ways Bronc Botz is successful with winning awards is largely due to our printed matierals - a collection of binders and flyers that help judges get a visual representation of what we do.
Our Printed Materials consist of a set of flyers and a set of binders, most of which has a counter part.

Bronc Botz also has some posters that get hung on the front of the pit display, as well as some auto-scrolling presentations.
